Southeast Collision Analysis, Inc.

was founded and incorporated in 1990 by Julian R. "Bucky" Beaver. Mr. Beaver was a Georgia State Patrol First Sergeant and Post Commander with 16 years experience when he left the department to form Southeast Collision Analysis. In the course of his education, he has received more than 3000 hours of training in the field of motor vehicle accident reconstruction. He has numerous certifications, honors, awards, and is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction. Mr. Beaver has testified in cases as far north as Connecticut and as far west as Louisiana in local, state, and federal courts.

In the 18 years since the company was formed, we have grown tremendously in scale and breadth of service. The company has achieved a high level of recognition in the field of accident reconstruction and has a substantial client base. We have continued to expand our network of field offices throughout the South. Our headquarters in Brunswick, GA will continue to handle logistics and clerical support for the field offices.

What We Do

Southeast Collision Analysis conducts a full range of motor vehicle and watercraft accident reconstruction services and forensic site documentation. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience in accident investigation and reconstruction.

ECM "Black Box" Downloads

We are your ECM download specialist.  We have the technology available to download Electronic Control Modules from commercial tractor engines.  These include Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines, Mercedes Benz, Caterpillar, and Cummins.  These systems provide a wealth of data on the operational parameters of the engine as well as recording information that may be specific to the collision in question.  Several ECM’s record hard braking events.  A hard braking event occurs when a truck decelerates over 7 miles per hour in one second. Mack ECM downloads require removal of the ECM and shipping to the factory. Sample.
